What age can my child start dance classes at McDonald-Wilson Dance Academy?

Is your studio beginner-friendly?

Yes - many of our new dancers begin with no prior experience. We welcome all ages and levels, and our teachers specialize in creating a positive, encouraging learning environment.

What happens if my child is shy or nervous about starting dance?

This is extremely common, especially for ages 3–6. MWDA teachers are experienced in helping young dancers:

Do you offer recital or performance opportunities?

Yes! All dancers have the opportunity to perform in our in-studio MWDA Christmas Demonstrations and our bi-annual Spring Showcase/Recital. Bi-annual recitals are optional but highly encouraged - they build confidence and create wonderful memories. Our Professional Division Program (PDP) for dedicated dancers offers many performance opportunities throughout the season as well.
